Healthy living takes a little bit of time. It is an investment in your life and the lives of your family members.
Read this article and make a mental note of all your excuses…
Now write them down and walk them over to the paper shredder. Turn it on. Poise your paper full of pathetic excuses just over the paper feeder and then, out loud say, “Good bye excuses! Hello health!” And SHRED those excuses!
Forget about them. You are done with the past and you are moving forward towards health for you AND your family.
It’s a new day!
CELEBRATE with an apple and a walk around the building on your break!
P.S. If you want to – share your excuses here. It helps to own up to them, confess them and allow others who have overcome those same excuses to offer up their advice and experience.
My “Go-To” Excuse: “I’ll exercise tomorrow. I don’t have time to today.”
I’m a stay-at-home, work-at-home Mom. Yes; running a home, mothering three boys, playing the role of loving wife, taking college classes and actively participating in a social life takes a lot of time…but you know what? After seriously looking at my priorities, I simply aligned my time expenditures to my priorities.
I’ll share later how I worked at developing certain healthy habits…
I encourage everyone to share their excuses – especially within your family! Give the people who love you, permission to help you achieve your goals.
